1.5 Use of Taming Olivia, including all materials presented herein and all online services provided by Taming Oliva is subject to this privacy policy. This privacy policy applies to all site visitors, customers and all other users of the site. By using the site or any services provided on the site, you agree to this privacy policy, without modification and acknowledge reading it.

 

2. WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 By visiting the site, registering for any services offered on the site, purchasing any products offered on the site or contacting us this privacy policy will apply.

2.2 The personal data we collect from you may include the following:

2.2.1 Purchase Orders: We collect a variety of personal information with each product order. This includes: your name, address, email address and phone number. This information is shared with our e-commerce software providers to ensure the delivery of your order. We use your email to communicate with you about your order and to manage our customer relationship with you. When you place an order, you may be asked to join our mailing list so we can keep you informed of any updates to which you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting me at tamingolivia@outlook.com.

2.2.2 Your payment information: We collect payment information for each order but we do not store payment information on the servers of Taming Olivia Your payment information is securely communicated to and processed via our e-commerce software providers. All personal information collected for an order is used for the fulfilment of that order and to manage our customer relationship with you.

2.2.3 Site interaction, email opt in, free product downloads and contact: We only collect the personal information you voluntarily provide to us which may include your name, email address and social media profile in order to subscribe to mailing lists and/or download free products, post comments onto the site or contact us via contact forms.

2.2.4 Activity: We may record information relating to your use of the site, such as the searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL and timestamp information. We use this type of information to administer the site and provide the highest possible level of service to you. We also use this information in the aggregate to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the site.

2.3 Taming Olivia is not intended for children or young people under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children and young people under 18. If you are under 18, please do not provide any information on this website.

Subject to the uses described in this privacy policy we will endeavour to treat all of your personal data in strict confidence and endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep your personal data secure once it has been transferred to our systems. However, the internet is not a secure medium and we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing online over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our failure to ensure we have appropriate technical and operational measures in place as required by GDPR.

7.1.4. a right to have certain personal data erased where it is no longer necessary for us to process it, where your personal data has been unlawfully processed, or where erasing your personal data is required in accordance with a legal obligation

7.1.5. a right to complain to your national data protection regulator

7.1.6. a right to object to direct marketing, which can be done by opting-out of direct marketing either opting out via the communication itself or via email at tamingolivia@outlook.com.

Please be aware that whilst we will try to accommodate any request you make in respect of your rights they are not absolute rights.  This means that we may have to refuse your request or may only be able to comply with it in part.

7.4. Where you make a request in respect of your rights we may also ask that you clarify your request. If we receive repeated requests or have reason to believe requests are being made unreasonably we reserve the right not to respond.

8.1. We may contact you in relation to promotions, products or services that you may be interested in from time to time, but only where you have consented to receive such marketing communications.
